Adding captions to News images
To add captions to news images, head to the File Manager area in the modules menu.
Locate the image you need to add a caption to and use the pencil icon next to each file to edit the file metadata.
The ‘Description’ field is used for the image caption. Once you have entered the caption, save and close.
To add the caption in French, you first need to create a translated copy of the image. Do this by clicking on the ‘Translate metadata’ icon, which looks like a little globe, the French flag will then appear alongside. Click this flag icon to view the metadata screen for the French version of the image. You can now enter the French caption into the ‘description’ field.
Note: once you have added the caption, it will automatically display on the slider image within the news article.
