Hide/unhide page elements

Hidden page content elements, in the same way as hidden pages, are only visible in the BackOffice and not visible to normal visitors on the website. You can hide or unhide a content element by following these steps:

1. In the modules menu click the 'Page' module link located in the 'Content' section.
2. In the site tree click the title of the page containing the content element you wish to delete.
3. You should now see the page-editing interface appear in the content editing window. You will be able to identify hidden content elements by looking at the icon located next to the edit icon in their toolbars. Hidden elements have a ‘greyed-out’ toggle switch. Those that are live are black. 
4. You can switch this toggle ‘on’ or ‘off’ depending if you want the content live on the page.

Alternatively:

1. To hide or unhide a content element click the element type icon located on the left-hand side of its toolbar next to the language 
2. From the context menu click ‘Disable’ or ‘Enable’.
